India does not have a separate "Digital Nomad Visa" yet, but you can obtain a visa to visit and work from India. Here at SyncRetreats we will help you with the visa process.

Step-by-step guide:

  • Gather all required documents: Prepare your passport, photos, and professional proof.
  • Consult an immigration lawyer: In India, certain long-term visas must be processed with the assistance of an immigration lawyer.
  • Complete the application: Work with your lawyer to fill out all required forms accurately.
  • Visa Fees: The fees typically include $250 for the National Immigration Agency (submitted by your lawyer) and $50 for the Visa Card, paid upon collection.
  • Submission: Your lawyer will submit the complete application package to the relevant authorities.
  • Processing Time: The entire process usually takes around 40 days.
  • Approval & Collection: Once approved, you can proceed to collect your digital nomad visa card.
  • Validity: The Short-Stay Visa for Remote Workers is usually issued for nine months and can be renewed for another nine months.
